This version of the course adds three specific agents built to handle the statutory and administrative load of modern Local Government.
Safety: The "Public Record" Line
We teach a strict Red / Amber / Green protocol aligned with GDPR and the protection of vulnerable resident data.
- → RED DATA Children's Services, Benefits, Council Tax specifics. Never in open prompts.
- → AMBER DATA Internal working papers, draft policies, staff rotas. Safe within tenant (but check classification).
- → GREEN DATA Public website info, published reports, press releases. Safe everywhere.
What happens on the day?
This is a specialized version of our Core Copilot Essentials course. It uses council scenarios (planning objections, complaints handling, policy updates) instead of corporate examples.
Morning: Risk & Governance
09:30 - 12:30
We cover the risks: AI bias in decision making and data leakage. We teach that Copilot is a "Drafter," not a "Decider"—officers remain accountable for every output.
Afternoon: The Build (Council Specific)
13:15 - 16:30
We build the specific agents listed above. Officers leave with working templates for responding to residents, summarising reports, and managing inboxes.
