Microsoft Copilot training for the NHS
Non-clinical admin training that releases time to care. Safe. Caldicott-aligned. Delivered by trainers who have worked in the NHS.
Delivered by former NHS trainers
Your trainer has worked in the NHS and Social Care. They hold valid qualifications in the sector.
We don't need to learn your acronyms—we already know them. We know the difference between a patient and a client. We know what a "winter crisis" actually feels like.
This ensures the training lands immediately with cynical or exhausted staff.
Specific NHS Upgrades
The core course teaches the tool. This NHS version adds three specific agents designed to reduce administrative burnout without crossing clinical lines.
Safety: The "Red Line"
In the NHS, safety is binary. We teach a strict Red / Amber / Green protocol aligned with Caldicott Principles and the DSPT.
- → RED DATA Patient Identifiable Data (NHS Numbers, Names, DOBs). Never in the prompt.
- → AMBER DATA Anonymised clinical notes, staffing rotas, internal policies. Safe within your tenant.
- → GREEN DATA Public info, patient leaflets, general admin. Safe everywhere.
What happens on the day?
This is a specialised version of our Core Copilot Essentials course. It follows the same structure but uses NHS-specific scenarios, documents, and rules.
Morning: Reality & Safety
09:30 - 12:30
We address the skepticism head-on. We cover Caldicott principles, safe prompting, and how to verify AI outputs so errors never reach a patient file.
Afternoon: The Build (NHS Specific)
13:15 - 16:30
We build the specific agents listed above. Staff leave with working templates for discharge summaries, complaints, and general admin.

The Topol Review (Digital Readiness)
The Topol Review highlighted that the NHS workforce must become "digitally ready" to release time for care. Our training focuses specifically on this: automating the non-clinical drudgery to free up clinical time.
Dr. Eric Topol: "The Gift of Time"
Topol argues that AI's greatest contribution to healthcare isn't replacing doctors, but giving them the "gift of time" with patients. We teach Copilot as a time-creation tool, not a decision-making tool.
NHS Long Term Plan (Admin Burden)
The plan explicitly targets the reduction of administrative burden. By automating rote tasks like summarising meeting minutes or drafting rota communications, we directly support this strategic goal.
